Volunteer Days
Join Sustainable Settings for a day of ranch work and feasting on the first and third Saturday of each month from 1pm to 5pm, May 2008 until October. Meet our rare-breed animals, get your hands in the dirt, and help bring local food production and sustainability education to the valley. Volunteer days include a lunch, beverages and a range of ranch and garden-farm work activities

Volunteer Program
Our volunteer program builds local constituency, provides individuals access to the projects and activities at the ranch, communicates our mission and brings important insight and expertise to the ongoing development of our organization and programs.


Adult Internships
An adult internship at Sustainable Settings is an intense day-to-day immersion in sustainable living. Applying themselves to practical solutions, our interns study a range of sustainable methods and technologies, spearhead specific research agendas, and roll up their sleeves to help design and create many of the systems that make up our whole systems learning center.
