Welcome to our Herdshare Membership Program
Our Herdshare Membership Program provides individuals and families the opportunity to become participating owners in our dairy herd and support the ongoing care, stewardship, and management of the animals throughout the year.
Under this program, members purchase an ownership interest in the herd through a written herdshare agreement and participate in the boarding and care of the animals through annual and/or recurring herd maintenance fees. Membership contributions support the daily work required to maintain a healthy and thriving herd, including feed, housing, veterinary care, labor, pasture management, and general farm operations.
As herd owners, members are entitled to receive the benefits associated with their ownership interest, including access to a proportional share of milk produced by the herd in accordance with the terms of the membership agreement.
Membership may include:
• Purchase of a herd ownership share
• Participation in annual herd stewardship and care
• Access to milk produced by the herd according to the terms of the share agreement
• Farm updates and communication regarding herd health and operations
• Information regarding herd management practices and milk testing standards
• Opportunities to connect with and learn about the farm and its practices
Our herdshare model is designed to create a direct relationship between members, the animals, and the farm. It supports responsible stewardship, transparency, and a stronger connection to local food systems and agricultural practices.
Please note: Milk provided through the herdshare program is raw and unpasteurized. Members receive milk through their ownership interest in the herd and not through retail sale.
Raw milk is made available exclusively to herdshare owners in accordance with Colorado law. Membership fees support the care, boarding, and management of the herd. Milk production may fluctuate due to natural herd cycles and other circumstances beyond our control. By becoming a member, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of the Herdshare Agreement.
